Most owners can tell you what they spent last month. Almost nobody can tell you what one car cost. Mpulse can — and it can tell you which wash, which shift and which product moved the number. Water and chemical are live today; the same framework takes on whatever you meter next.
How much water went through the wash to clean one car, measured at the main and at the RO permeate. Water is metered, sewered and rising — and a stuck valve or a long rinse cycle hides inside a monthly bill until somebody counts per car.
What you actually spent on product to wash one car — every soap, presoak, polish and drying agent, priced at what you paid, divided by the cars that ran. This is the number your margin lives or dies on.

04Meter
Getting the hardware in.
There is no gateway, no hub and no controller to commission. Each device is self-contained: mount it, give it power, and it joins the WiFi already in your backroom and starts reporting. Most of the work is plumbing, and it is the same job at every location.
The hardware arrives
Boxed per location and labelled per tank and per line, so the person fitting it knows what goes where without a wiring diagram. Nothing is configured on site — each device is already tied to your account before it ships.
Level sensors go on the reservoir
One per chemical tank you want watched, mounted directly on the reservoir. It reads volume from the tank’s real dimensions rather than a guess at a sight glass, so percent full means what it says.
Flow meters go on the lines
The main line meter fits inline on the incoming water line, ahead of anything that splits off. The RO meter fits on the permeate side. Standard fittings, ordinary plumbing work, no proprietary rig.
They find your WiFi and report
Each device connects over the site’s own WiFi and is online immediately. There is nothing to pair, nothing to cable together and no separate data plan. The one prerequisite is a usable signal in the backroom — worth checking before the boxes land.
Fitting is ordinary plumbing and mounting work, and most operators use their own maintenance crew or their usual contractor. If we already service your sites, talk to your representative about scheduling it.
05Maintain
Three steps, then it runs itself.
Set your targets
Tell Mpulse what each wash package is supposed to use — which products, at what dose, at what price, and how much water. That becomes your operating standard, and everything measured afterwards gets judged against it.
Record or measure
Log a visit yourself, have your manager do it, or let the meters report on their own. Either way, cost per car and gallons per car land in the same place, calculated the same way, for every wash you own.
Work the flags
The dashboard tells you which washes drifted, on which number, and in which direction. You fix the pump, chase the leak, retrain the crew or renegotiate with your supplier — and watch the number come back to target.
